Details: The star of “Journey to the Center of the Earth” is back in another Jules Verne – inspired voyage! While looking for his long lost grandfather, Sean (played by Josh Hutcherson), decodes a secret map that points him and a group of adventurers to the elusive “Mysterious Island”. After finding his grandfather and discovering that the island is sinking, they all head for the shore on the back of giant bees! Hitch a ride with the gang in this immersive 3-D/4-D experience as you become a passenger in a real “flight of the bumblebee!”. Soar over the jungle, zoom through the treetops, and dodge the beaks of hungry birds! Featuring an all-star cast, including Michael Caine, Dwayne Johnson, Vanessa Hudgens, and Luis Guzman, this is a one-of-a-kind ride you won’t want to miss. Please note – you must be at least 1.2 metres in height to use the Motion Ride.

Details: Led by Life's friendly Science Explainers, these regular events provide a delightful opportunity for young children (under 4s) to enjoy and explore the Science Centre. Each session offers a mix of classic activities, such as Piccolo Music workshops, mini-beast handling and a toddler bubble disco alongside new activities, so that every event is different. Access to our Hands-on Young Explorers Zone and an under-7s planetarium show is also available during these special days.

Details: Don’t miss Dino Jaws, an amazing exhibition from the Natural History Museum, featuring life-size animatronic dinosaur heads – including the terrifying T. rex! Explore the sometimes gruesome, always fascinating, subject of dinosaurs and their food; from the notorious flesh-eating habits of T. rex to the vegetarian tastes of Iguanodon. In this exhibition you can also explore intriguing fossil evidence, hands-on exhibits and scientific insights that reveal everything we know about what and how dinosaurs ate.

Details: Life Science Centre will be home to a host of intricate historical models, all of which have been made from scratch using LEGO® bricks. This new exhibition will span the whole of human history – picking out the key highlights – to show how mankind has progressed over the years, from the pre-historic era to modern day. Visitors can marvel at over 50 LEGO® models depicting the most pivotal moments in history, from the Big Bang, to the sinking of the Titanic, and modern events such as President Obama’s inauguration. Please note - LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse this exhibition.
